How ReCapture Works?
First, ReCapture creates what’s called an “anchor video” – think of it as a first draft with your desired camera movements. It’s not perfect yet, but it sets the stage for what’s to come.

ReCapture uses a sophisticated AI system to refine that rough draft into something that looks natural and fluid. It go through your footage and smooth out all the rough edges.
How to use and Download ReCapture
Currently, ReCapture is not available for public use as it remains in the research phase.
Before you get too excited about downloading ReCapture for your next video project, there’s a catch: this is still very much in the research phase.
Like many exciting AI developments in video ( like OpenAI’s Sora), ReCapture isn’t ready for prime time yet.
While companies like Runway are already offering some AI video tools to the public, Google’s ReCapture remains in the lab for now.
But it gives us a glimpse of what’s coming in the world of video editing.
